Instructor - Sensei Ian Taylor
3rd Dan
Sensei Ian Taylor began practicing Aikido back in 1994 under Sensei Geoff Hodges at Park Hall Aikido in Castle Bromwich. When Sensei Hodges retired from teaching in 2000 Ian continued to study under Sensei Adam Hodgetts at Dragonite Aikido in Ward End.
Ian worked his way through the grades and reached Dan Grade in December 2002. In December 2007 Ian gained his level one certificate in advanced weapons and in February 2009 he was awarded Coach Level 2 by the BAB after successfully completing the required courses and examination day.
In June 2009 Ian achieved his 3rd Dan.
Ian is a fully qualified instructor, registered with the British Aikido Board (BAB).
